Plans to build a multi-storey car park near the new Bolton transport interchange have taken another step forward. A contractor will now be sought to demolish the former Wayne Walker meat store and the adjacent Motorcycle Mega Store at the junction with Trinity Street and Bradshawgate. Council leader Cliff Morris formally approved starting the process to secure a contractor on Monday.
