Developer starts work on 26-home development
Work has begun on a new residential development of 26 homes on a 2.5-acre site in the semi-rural suburb of Walton-le-Dale near Preston.
Housebuilder Jones Homes will transform the site on Duddle Lane, next to Cockshott Woods, with a mix of detached homes, bungalows, apartments and mews.
In the scheme, there will be an element of affordable housing for first-time buyers and an area of public open space.
