£85m Ordsall Chord line is complete

The 300 metre Ordsall Chord line near Manchester city centre was completed today at a total cost of about £85m. Completion of the work is a milestone for the Manchester studio of BDP which played a key part in what has proved to be a hugely significant civil engineering project. It includes a series of new bridges and viaducts designed by BDP in collaboration with engineers from Parsons Brinkerhoff, Aecom and Mott MacDonald.
