Public now able to view £57m plans for A500 dualling scheme

A pre-planning consultation has begun allowing residents and stakeholder groups to view the proposed £57m scheme for dualling the A500 road between Crewe and junction 16 of the M6. Cheshire East Council unveiled its initial preferred scheme in May, proposing the most suitable option would be to widen the road to the south, rather than the north.
