Major regeneration project in Oldham could bring 250 jobs
Plans for a multi-million pound retail-led regeneration scheme in the heart of Oldham bringing 250 jobs have been approved by the town’s planning committee.
The blueprint for the 90,000 sq ft scheme has been drawn up by Oldham Property – a joint venture between Oldham Borough Council and the Brookhouse Group.
Following approval, the site of the former Sainsbury’s site on Bloom Street, which has been derelict since the supermarket chain vacated its store in 2004, will be redeveloped.
