£700m riverside suburb set for approval
A masterplan aiming to create a £700m riverside suburb south of Liverpool city centre is set to be approved on Friday (June 16).
The authority’s cabinet is set to green light the next stage of the radical transformation of the former International Festival Gardens site which could deliver up to 2,500 new homes, 500,000sq ft of commercial and leisure floor-space, a new ferry terminal and a major waterpark attraction.
