Plans tabled for £141m logistics park
Plans have been submitted for a £141m logistics park near St Helens on Merseyside which promises to bring 2,500 jobs to the area.
If the application from Peel Investments (North) is approved, Haydock Point will be developed by Peel Logistics Property east of Haydock.
The outline application seeks planning permission for the 1.8m sq ft scheme with detailed access of a new junction on the A580 East Lancashire Road. The site has the potential to accommodate a single unit of up to 1 million sq ft.
