Rolls-Royce wins $1.5bn China deal
Derby-based Rolls-Royce has won a $1.5bn order from China Eastern Airlines for Trent 700 engines to power 15 Airbus A330 aircraft, plus long-term TotalCare® engine support services.
China Airlines — which already has 51 Trent 700 powered A330s from Rolls-Royce — will continue to benefit from the best fuel burn, emissions and noise performance, which makes the Trent 700 the market leader on the aircraft.
