BBC documentary set to unwrap Derbyshire sweet maker
The Derbyshire base of Britain’s largest family-owned sweet manufacturer Swizzels has opened its doors to BBC Two’s Inside the Factory series.
Swizzels, one of the few sweet manufacturers to still produce in the UK, features in the show which goes behind the scenes to unveil the secrets of Britain’s biggest factories.
The hour long programme, airing today at 8pm (August 23rd), will show presenters Gregg Wallace and Cherry Healey exploring the inner workings of the Derbyshire based factory, which produces over one million indiv...
