Mansfield turbine business sold out of administration
Champion Laboratories’ gas turbine business has been sold to Nottingham firm Micro-Mesh Filtration for an undisclosed sum.
The sale comes after the appointment of Graham Busby and Dilip Dattani of RSM Restructuring Advisory as joint administrators.
The company, which was owned and supported financially by a US group, entered administration on 5 July due to the loss of financial support it relied on to continue to trade following it's US parent company entering Chapter 11.
