Accountancy firm Mazars is staying in Leicester after signing a new ten-year lease on its offices and completing a refurbishment of its Meridian Park premises.

Mazars opened in Leicester in 2013 and has had considerable success in the city.

Chris Darlington, Leicester office managing partner, said: “We had no hesitation in signing the new lease and are excited that we have completed this refurbishment of our offices.

“We are happy to not only be providing the best possible working environment for our team of professionals, but also to demonstrate to our clients and business colleagues that Mazars is staying in Leicester for the long term and is committed to investing in the city.

“These are exciting times for Leicester as a whole as the city continues on its upward curve, and Mazars is incredibly excited to be part of this success. We know first-hand how important it is to be close to your client base, and this is why we’re investing heavily in the local team.”

One such client is Matthew Moore of Westleigh Partnerships Ltd. He said: “It’s so great to have Mazars right on our doorstep. Being based in Leicester ourselves, their close proximity enables us to work more closely with them which has forged even stronger working relationships between us and Mazars.”

The refurbishment works at Mazars Leicester offices were carried out by Butler and Willow Limited who designed and created a fully open plan office area.

Darlington added: “Our refurbished workspace was designed and installed by Nottinghamshire-based specialist Butler & Willow, who took the time to understand our needs and achieve our goals on time and within budget.”
