‘The banks are on their backsides,’ says East Mids restaurant boss
An East Midlands restaurant boss hoping to crowdfund £350,000 has said that he never considered going to a high street bank for the cash.
Co-founders of Meatcure Rob Martyniak and Paul Rigby have turned to Seedrs to raise the cash to open a further five restaurants.
Martyniak, from Northants, said: "Why would we try for traditional lending? The banks are on their backsides and although they talk the talk they’re not really willing to invest in small businesses.
