Rolls-Royce wins $1.2bn airline deal

Derby-based Rolls-Royce has won an order worth $1.2bn with the Garuda Indonesia airline. The deal, to supply Trent 7000 engines designed and developed in Derby, will power a fleet of 14 Airbus330 neo aircraft. It was signed in London in the presence of the President of Indonesia, His Excellency Joko Widodo.
