SMEs and the self-employed appear to the big winner in this year's Budget as George Osborne set out tax cuts across the board. During a speech that had a running theme of "putting the next generation first", Osborne delivered the message that "this government is on your side" to SMEs, and set out what he called a "road map to lower the tax regime" that will attract multinational companies, whilst at the same time ensure that it is a level playing field for their smaller counterparts.
