Nottingham coach company looking at ‘large-scale acquisition’
A Nottingham coach company says it is looking at a "potential large-scale acquisition" as it pushes through the £20m turnover barrier.
Skills Holidays, which is based in Radford, has been trading since 1919. Today, the company employs 350 people and has a fleet of 160 vehicles.
Skills' chairman is Nigel Skill, the grandson of the company's founder. He took over the business in 1987 when he bought it from his father. In the past three years, turnover has risen from £8m to £20m.
