Northants footwear firm posts records results

A Northants footwear company has broken through the £10m turnover barrier for the first time in its history. Desborough-based Joseph Cheaney & Sons, which went through a management buy-out in 2009 after cousins Jonathan and William Church bought the company, has posted record figures, with strong growth in its own-brand footwear, which now represents 80% of total company sales.
