Tributes paid after Nottingham City Council Conservative leader dies
The leader of the Conservative Group at Nottingham City Council Councillor Georgina Culley has died.
Councillor Culley, aged 65, died peacefully in her sleep at her home in Wollaton on Saturday night. She is survived by her husband Ian. She had served the Wollaton West ward for over 25 years and became the leader of the opposition group in 2004. She was a member of various committees including the Overview and Scrutiny Committee, the Corporate Parenting Board and the Children and Young People Scrutiny Committee.
