Two injured after explosion at Nottingham industrial estate
An explosion an industrial plant in Colwick, Nottingham, yesterday (20 September) has left two men with serious injuries.
The emergency services were called to Bio Dynamic on Colwick Industrial Estate yesterday morning after a tanker at the plant, which specialises in turning food waste into energy, exploded and collapsed.
Officials from the Health and Safety Executive and Environment Agency joined emergency services in making the area safe. Police say they are now investigating the cause of the incident.
