A former care home in Leicester which was previously owned by the City Council, has been purchased by a private healthcare company who will be reopening the premises in 2018, creating new jobs in the county. Brookside Care Home in the Knighton area of the city has been purchased by Ally and Nazeera Toorabally who own Amethyst Healthcare (Knighton).
