Social scene: Nottingham European Capital of Culture launch
Nottingham launched its bid to become European Capital of Culture 2023 at an event held on Wednesday (16 August).
The announcement took place in a luminarium – a structure of luminescent colour and light – created by internationally renowned local artists Architects of Air.
