Bank funding puts the dough into bakery’s growth plan

Leicestershire-based Geary’s Bakeries is to expand its factory and creating more jobs after securing a £4.5m funding package. The family bakery, which can trace its history back to 1906, is extend its Barrow-upon-Soar site which will enable it to add to its range. The funding package was created by NatWest, with help from the Government’s Regional Growth Fund through the University of Derby.
