Nottingham city centre music studio gets green light

Plans to turn a disused boiler room in the city centre into a music studio have been given the green light. Severns Investments, which is run by Mark and Adam Cavell, has been given the go-ahead by Nottingham City Council to open up the basement in Newland House on Mount Street, which is rented out by Severns Rental Agency as student accommodation, into a 1,600 sq ft recording studio. Mark Cavell is also a director as Mabec, which bought the 60,000 sq ft Newland House, which were formerly used as offices by energy company Eon. ...
