Soubry calls on May to resign

Anna Soubry, the Tory Broxtowe MP, has called on Prime Minister Theresa May to resign after a night of trauma for the Conservatives. As the country headed towards as hung Parliament, Soubry's majority was slashed to less than 1,000. Speaking to the BBC, Soubry said: "It is bad. It is a matter for her [whether she resigns]. She is in a very difficult place. She’s a remarkable and very talented woman and she doesn’t shy from difficult decisions. But she now has to, obviously, consider her position.
