Derby train maker narrows losses

Bombardier, which makes trains in Derby, has narrowed its losses over the the last quarter, the firm has revealed. The firm posted a loss of $31m for the three months to 31 March, down from £138m in 2016. The firm also said its executive chairman Pierre Beaudoin would step down, but that he would continue at the firm as a non-executive director.
