Matlock haulage firm lands funding deal

A Derbyshire road haulage company has secured new funding which it says will support the ongoing development of the business. Matlock-based, Matlock Transport Company has secured the funding from Barclays which will enable to the business to implement its growth plans. The third generation family run business, which was founded by Richard Henry Lowe in 1946, maintains a fleet of 50 vehicles and employs 60 staff from its original base in Darley Dale.
