Leicester law firm calls off merger talks
Ward Hadaway and Weightmans, which has an office in Leicester, have announced that they have "mutually agreed" to withdraw from their merger discussions.
The firms had begun merger talks in January, and in a statement this morning (25 April), both firms said they could see undoubted benefits of the merger and that they "have a great deal in common around culture and values".
The deal would've created a £130m firm.
