40 new jobs as Norton accelerates with funding deal

Castle Donington-based motorbike manufacturer Norton Motorcycles (UK), has landed a £3m deal with Santander Corporate & Commercial to support the development of its new Norton V4 SS and V4 RR bikes. The firm says the funding will create around 40 jobs. Norton presently manufactures around 500 units per year of its core 961 Commando range from its premises at Donington Hall in the East Midlands and exports across the world.
