Eighty jobs to be created as plans revealed for new research centre
Plans have been revealed by the University of Nottingham to build a two-storey research building with offices, laboratories and seminar and meeting space in a move that would create 80 jobs.
The university wants to build a Power Electronics, Machine and Control Centre (PEMC) at its Triumph Road campus in Nottingham.
If it receives planning approval, the new building will include:
• 37,673 sq ft of ground floor workshop/lab space;
