Work starts on 214,000 sq ft of speculative ‘sheds’ in Coventry

CONSTRUCTION work has started on what are believed to be the first speculative distribution and industrial units in Coventry since 2007.

Property group Goodman, in partnership with LaSalle Investment Management and the Homes and Communities Agency (HCA), is building the multi-unit scheme at Lyons Park, which will comprise five industrial and warehousing units totalling 214,000 sq ft on a nine-acre site.

The units will range in size from 32,000 sq ft to 50,000 sq ft and are due for completion in the summer.
