£4m funding supports Academy’s major upgrade

Joseph Leckie Academy in Walsall is undergoing Phase 2 of its ambitious upgrade, which is being undertaken by Midlands property and construction company Wakemans. After an award of nearly £4m from the Education Funding Agency, the Academy has been able to give the go ahead for further work to complete its project. Existing school buildings will be demolished and replaced by a new two storey structure.
