Worcestershire business part of $3bn deal discussions

Investor Wilmcote Holdings is in advanced talks to buy agrochemicals business Arysta in a $3bn deal. Arysta's UK headquarters are in Evesham, Worcestershire and its American parent, Platform Specialty Products, is "in discussions" to sell the life sciences business. Wilmcote was established in 2017 to acquire and subsequently develop target businesses in the chemicals sector. It has confirmed to the stock market that discussions are "ongoing" after news of the potential deal was reported in the Wall Street Journal yesterday....
