JLR announces job cuts

An unconfirmed number of jobs are at stake as Jaguar Land Rover (JLR) announces it is cutting jobs at its Solihull plant. JLR says it the decision was part of "standard business practice" to review its production schedules to make sure market demand is balanced globally. As a consequence, it will not renewing the temporary contracts of a number of agency staff at Solihull.
