Pubco chairman swaps beer for bricks and mortar
The chairman of Wolverhampton-based pubco and brewer, Marston's, is to step down from the business after being appointed to a similar role with housebuilder Persimmon.
Roger Devlin has informed the company’s board of his intention to leave, citing increased business commitments.
Following agreement with the board, he will leave his post on May 31, 2018 and the company said it had begun the process of finding a replacement. Mr Devlin takes up his new post with effect from June 1.
