Experienced rail executive appointed MD of new franchise
The new West Midlands Trains franchise has secured an experienced rail executive as its new managing director.
Jan Chaudhry-van der Velde joins the franchise from Merseyrail, where he has been managing director since 2015. He will take up the appointment on December 10 when the new franchise begins.
