Approval sought for £100m city centre scheme

A £100m city centre residential scheme on the site of a former swimming baths has been submitted for approval by planners. Camborne Land Investments' Kent Street Baths scheme is for 500 apartments in the southside area of Birmingham. Kent Street Baths was built in 1851, re-built in 1930 and knocked down in 2009. Camborne, in a joint venture with Urban High Developments, bought the 2.25 acre site from Benacre Properties in March.
