City centre transformation to continue as market move starts

Work will begin today on Wolverhampton’s new £4.9m city centre market as the transformation of the city centre continues. City of Wolverhampton Council announced in January the relocation of the market from Market Square. The Market Square location is to be absorbed into the new £55m leisure-led Westside development by developer Urban&Civic. The move is expected to provide increased footfall for traders from people using the Wulfrun Centre and transport Interchange, as well as it now being situated in a student catchm...
