The four-year project to convert the Sunbeam factory in Wolverhampton is progressing quietly after a £1m contract to supply specialist windows was awarded. Kalsun Aluminium will provide the windows, which have a noise-reducing acoustic skin, for the renovation of the landmark building off Penn Road Island. The £12.5m scheme to convert the historic factory into 117 apartments is being carried out by developer Liam Wordley. The development, which has units ranging from one to six bedrooms, requires 650 windows and 50 doors. K...
