The Midlands Engine has identified its Vision for Growth in a report that sets out how it intends to meet its 2030 ambitions. It is focused on closing the productivity gap, with Midlands Engine chairman Sir John Peace highlighting that if the Midlands performed in line with the UK average, the £207bn regional economy would grow by £54bn.
