Engineering group buys software automation company

Vinci Energies has acquired QSI Group
Solihull-based engineering group Vinci Energies has strengthened its presence in the software automation sector by purchasing Teesside-based QSI Group. The deal, for an undisclosed sum, will see QSI's 15 staff join the Vinci Energies' 660-strong workforce in the UK and Republic of Ireland. They will become part of Actemium, Vinci's industrial engineering division that is one of seven brands it operates. Actemium has an annual turnover of £25m, with QSI around one-tenth of its size.
