Developers warned of £10m-an-acre price tag for prime city centre sites
Developers could be paying up to £10m per acre for prime development sites in Birmingham as soon as next year if the shortage of deliverable development land continues to drive up prices.
Research by CBRE said values had increased by more than £5m per acre in the past five years alone. In contrast, in 2013 developers were typically paying just £2m per acre.
