Global operator agrees deal for airport hotel

The 178-bedroom hotel planned for Birmingham Airport will be operated by Hilton Garden Inn, after the American hotel giant signed a franchise agreement. The nine-storey hotel, which is being partly built off site, will be next to the airport’s administrative offices and is scheduled to open next year. It will be Hilton's ninth hotel in the West Midlands, and the second using the Garden Inn brand, joining the existing hotel in Brindleyplace, Birmingham.
