Birmingham medtech secures additional funding
A specialist technology funder has invested in a Birmingham firm developing new equipment to detect bacterial infection.
Rainbow Seed Fund is an early-stage venture capital fund focused on building technology companies from the UK's research base.
It has invested £300,000 in University of Birmingham spinout Linear Diagnostics. The investment was match-funded with an award from the University of Birmingham’s Spinout Investment fund.
