Supply shortage driving up rents to pre-recession levels in Solihull and M42 Corridor

A lack of Grade A office space is driving up rents in the M42 and Solihull office market to levels not seen since the recession, property agents have said. Mark Robinson, director in KWB’s Birmingham-based Office Agency Team, said rents for new Grade A space had now passed £23.50 psf and were likely to continue to increase over the next 12 months, as well as applying upward pressure to rents for refurbished space.
