Hundreds of jobs at risk as food group plans to shut factory
Food business 2 Sisters is planning to close a Smethwick factory, putting up to 630 jobs at risk.
The manufacturing site at Alpha Business Park, known as Site A, supplies retailers and other food companies with chicken portions.
But, 21 years after opening, it is no longer seen as suitable and consultations have now begun about ceasing production at the site.
