Confidence on rise for Black Country firms

Businesses in the Black Country are growing in confidence despite the shadow of Brexit, according to a new study. The Black Country Chamber of Commerce’s first quarter survey shows 68% of firms responding were confident of their prospects – a rise of 7% on the final quarter of last year. Moreover, 60% of businesses in the area are more confient about their profit levels – a rise of 8% on Q4 2016 and 10% on this time last year.
