Two West Midlands organisations are planning to tackle the Japanese market. The country will have a higher profile in the years ahead because it is hosting two major sporting events - the 2019 rugby union world cup and the 2020 Olympics. Rugby Borough Council has linked up with tournament organisers World Rugby as it wants to promote the town as a destination to Japanese visitors.
