Ambitious and inspirational leaders honoured

BT's regional boss Mike Blackburn, leisure sector pioneer Tim Bacon and  Mike Brown, senior partner of law firm BLM, were among the winners at the North West IoD Director of the Year awards.

Blackburn, who also chairs the Greater Manchester Local Enterprise Partnership, and is a passionate supporter of community education initiatives was named Director of the Year at the ceremony last Thursday.
