Marine services group lands major windfarm contract

CUMBRIAN marine services specialist James Fisher has won a major contract to support a new offshore windfarm.

The Barrow-based firm said the marine services and support contract for Galloper Wind Farm Ltd is worth more than £25m.

Located 27km off the Suffolk coast,  Galloper Wind Farm,  a joint equity partnership between RWE Innogy UK, UK Green Investment Bank, Siemens Financial Services and Macquarie Capital, is a 336MW installation.
