Speedy names new FD
TOOL and equipment hire market leader Speedy Hire has named its new finance director.
The Newton-le-Willows-based group said Russell Down would be taking the role from April 6. His predecessor Lynn Krige left in October.
Down has been group finance director since 2008 at Hyder Consulting, the multinational design and engineering consultancy, which was recently acquired by Arcadis N.V. He spent 17 years in all at Hyder, including five years as financial controller.
