Samson sells on Peter Cox Property Care

RENTOKIL Initial has bought the Oldham-based damp-proofing and timber treatment firm Peter Cox Property Care.

The deal comes just two years after the business was sold by listed group Restore for £3.6m to Castlefield House, which is controlled by Harvey Samson, who was Restore's finance director until June 2012.

Since then Peter Cox's trading figures have improved dramatically with revenues jumping from £9m in 2012 to £19.6m in the year to July, and profits increasing from £200,000 to £2.5m.
